A Doylestown Township pizza shop is expanding to Newtown Township as it works to take over a location that housed a pizzeria for decades.
Lucatelli’s Pizzeria announced its second location will be at the former Marco’s Pizza spot in the Village at Newtown South shopping center on South Eagle Road.
“We’re bringing everything you already love about our Doylestown shop, from our 72-hour fermented dough to our scratch-made cutlets and quality ingredients, now closer to our Newtown neighbors,” Lucatelli’s Pizzeria said.
The shop is undergoing a remodel and is expected to open by the beginning of October. Lucatelli’s Pizzeria’s owners said.
Marco’s Pizza closed in July.
