PennDOT crews will be out starting Monday to make repairs to potholes and deteriorated state roadways in the area.
Among the roads the state crews will be focusing on are Newtown-Richboro Road in Newtown Township and Lindenhurst Road in Newtown and Lower Makefield townships.
Due to the work, PennDOT advised of periodic daytime lane closures and possible slowdowns.
PennDOT has been out on local roadways in recent weeks patching potholes caused by recent freezing temperatures and winter storms.
Since the start of the year, PennDOT District 6, which covers Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties, has received more than 2,100 complaints from residents.
The state transportation department has used 660 tons of asphalt in the region to fill potholes.
This week, PennDOT crews will be repairing more than 35 roadways in the region.
