The Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce has found its new president.
Bucks County resident Amy M.B. McKenna will start her new job as president of the 1,000-plus member Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce on March 14.
McKenna has worked as vice president of the MIDJersey Chamber of Commerce and at Bucks County Bank, 3rd Federal Bank, A to Z Gifts Plus and Chesterbrook Academy. She holds two Bachelors degrees from the University of Maryland.
McKenna has previously been involved in the Newtown Business Association and received the Brian S. Gregg Humanitarian Award in 2012.
“We are so excited to name Amy as President of LBCCC,” said Kathy Zelenka, chair of the board of the Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce. “Amy’s years of dedication and passion for our organization make her the perfect fit.”
Previous Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce President Dan Bates left late last year before he moved to be closer to family in Ohio. He is now the president of the Sharonville Chamber of Commerce.
The chamber has put on a search over the past few months to find a new leader.
“We truly believe that Amy will be a great asset to the Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce and will create new initiatives that will engage our membership and stimulate our business community,” Zelenka said.
