iclb-logoThe Interfaith Community of Lower Bucks County is set to present another event in its “Sharing Our Faith” series this Saturday.

The event will run from 1 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Fallsington Friends Meeting House at 9300 New Falls Road in Falls Township.

This Saturday’s event, “Enkankar: An Afternoon of Light and Sound” will include an introduction to spiritual techniques to expand awareness of divine works in you life, a panel discussion, creative arts including live inspirational music, a meditation exercise and a pot luck dinner.

Guests bringing a dish to share should list the ingredients so that other guests may make sure that they follow their dietary customs.

“The name Eckankar means “co-worker with God.” Eckankar believes it is the destiny of each Soul to experience God and serve all life. ECK is another word for the Life Force or Holy Spirit, which can be experienced as inner Light and Sound. It is also known as the Audible Life Stream. Eckankar gives practical ways for people to have real spiritual experiences—even the ultimate experience of God realization—in this very lifetime. This is made possible through the daily practice of spiritual exercises or contemplation to directly experience the journey of Soul,” according to organizers.
