PHOTOS: Saturday Provides Perfect Weather For A Day At Tyler State Park

Tyler State Park in Newtown was the place to be Saturday morning.

Beautiful weather made the state park that spans Newtown and Northampton a great place to spend the morning. Spring-like temperatures and sunny skies greeted those who spent the day at the park.

The creek basin was packed with young anglers who were taking part in Pennsylvania’s Mentored Youth Trout Day. The day allows youth under the age of 16 to join an adult with a fishing license and valid trout permit to fish in stocked trout waters. Trout season in Southeastern Pennsylvania officially opens to everyone on Saturday, April 2.
