The Wrightstown Farmers Market will host their last Winter Market of the season this Saturday.
Locals are invited to come celebrate Earth Day at the market, this Saturday, April 23; where they can learn about saving money and purchasing electricity from wind energy, learn how to create a wildlife habitat, learn about making good food choices that can cut down on your carbon footprint, and more.
The market is held at 2203 Second Street Pike in Wrightstown for one hour only, from 10 to 11 a.m.. The market is located next to the Wrightstown Township municipal offices.
Officials from a variety of vendors will also be available for locals to learn more about their organic and natural products, and make purchases.
Favorites like bavarian style pretzels from Apple Ridge Farm, natural gourmet dog treats from Caramel’s Crunchy Dog Cookies, frozen wheatgrass juice from Hollandview Farm, local raw honey from Bee Well Honey, handmade soap from Marie’s Soap Co., fresh produce from Snipes Farm, as well as products from over a dozen additional vendors will all be on site.
The Winter Market is an hourly event held on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month from December through April. The regular season market runs every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. beginning in May and ending in November.
