Rep. Scott Petri To Host Meeting Thursday About The National Flood Insurance Program

State Rep. Scott Petri of Upper Makefield (R-Bucks) and State Rep. Frank Farry of Langhorne (R-Bucks) are scheduled to hold an informational meeting Thursday regarding the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP).

Petri, a sponsor of legislation that would establish a Community Rating System (CRS) Incentive Program that would provide grants to local entities for activities aimed at improving its flood remeidation program, is looking to gather input from community officals at the meeting.

Petri will bejoined by Farry, DCED State Coordinator of the NFIP Dan Fitzpatrick, Executive Director of the Bucks County Planning Commission Lynn Bush, and representatives of both Tetra Tech and FEMA.

The event will help held Thursday, April, 28 at 7 p.m. inside the Washington Crossing Historic Park Visitor Center auditorium at 1112 River Road.
