Bucks County digital job board RecruitmentQueen.com, through a collaborative effort with online news sites LevittownNow.com and NewtownPANow.com, is making sure job seekers have even more outlets to search for local jobs.
The collaboration will allow each to share job-related content on RecruitmentQueen’s Website as well as in the digital newspapers, which serve the lower Bucks County communities of Bristol, Falls, Hulmeville, Langhorne, Penndel, Middletown and Tullytown (LevittownNow); and Newtown Township, Newtown Borough, Wrightstown and Upper Makefield (NewtownPANow).
Jennifer Schultz, CEO and founder of RecruitmentQueen, grew up in the Levittown area and is a Pennsbury High School graduate. Partnering with news sites covering Bucks County was a way to give back to her job-seeking community.
“It was important for me to make sure we help people find jobs in their backyards,” Schultz said, adding that LevittownNow, which began in March 2013, is a “great resource for us to share jobs locally.”
Through the collaboration with RecruitmentQueen, LevittownNow and NewtownPANow have added a page for jobs that will feature Bucks County area employer’s jobs, career-related blogs posts and links to create a job seeker profile on the site.
“It give us another resource to be in front of another audience,” Schultz said.
Since editor and journalist Tom Sofield began LevtittownNow, he has seen a steady benchmark of 90,000 unique visitors per month. On average, Recruitmentqueen.com receives 9,500 visits per month from job seekers. NewtownPANow launched earlier this year and saw 18,000 unique visitors in March.
“We reach such a large audience and a younger audience,” Sofield said, noting that the collaboration with RecruitmentQueen is “going to be a huge benefit.”
The employment-related collaboration are the news sites’ “first foray into jobs,” Sofield said.
