According to officials, police received a report of a bear sighting in the area earlier Thursday morning.
The sighting was in the area of the creek behind the Chandler Ball Field.
Although police responded to the area, they could not immediatedly confirm the bear sighting.
The alleged bear sighting comes just a few weeks after a bear was struck by a vehicle in Wrightstown. The bear involved in the incident was said to have weighed 150 pounds.
