Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is planning to rally his supporters in Newtown Township Friday.

The campaign announced late Wednesday evening that Trump will hold a campaign event at the Newtown Athletic Club Sports Training Center at 7:30 p.m. Friday. Those interested in attending can sign up for tickets on Trump’s website.

The stop at the Newtown Township sports training center comes after a planned stop in Johnstown in Western Pennsylvania. Trump will spend the end of the week visiting the battleground states he hopes to win.

Trump backer Jim Worthington owns the Newtown Athletic Club and has used the facility to organize local efforts for the New York businessman. Worthington attended the RNC in Cleveland in summer as a Trump delegate.

Friday’s event marks Trump’s first visit to Bucks County this election season.
