Community College’s Penn Hall Renamed

One of Bucks County Community College’s academic buildings has been renamed.

Penn Hall, which is home to the Newtown Township community college’s nursing program, has been renamed in honor of Jean H. Grupp Hall, the late wife of longtime college trustee Otto Grupp III.

Jean Grupp, according to the college, passionately pursued her career as a nurse while raising their family in Langhorne.

“There’s nothing more rewarding than being able to name this building in Jean’s memory, and as a result to provide more scholarships for deserving students here,” said Grupp. “Hopefully this will encourage others to give back as well.”
