A portion of River Road will be closed this week.
According to PennDOT, River Road (Route 32) between Embarcation Road and Lord Sterling Road in Upper Makefield will close Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for pipe installation.
The single-day closure will detour River Road motorists over Embarcation Road and Lord Sterling Road. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone, officials said.
PennDOT said the work is contingent on the weather.
