The Newtown area is expected to wake up Friday to a soft coating of snow.
Forecasters from the National Weather Service’s Mt. Holly, New Jersey, office said the Lower Bucks County area could receive between one to three inches of snow overnight. The snow is expected to end around daybreak Friday and could cause some messy driving conditions.
A Winter Weather Advisory was placed for the area Thursday night into Friday morning as a snow system moved in.
The late-week snow comes as forecasters are looking to a possible snow system for Saturday. Early models indicate South Jersey would see the most snow with Lower Bucks County seeing a smaller amount.
