Rain, Wind Expected Monday Into Tuesday

High winds and rain are expected to impact the Lower Bucks County area Monday into Tuesday.

Forecasters from the National Weather Service said winds of 20 to 30 MPH should be expected for Monday afternoon and evening. The winds, forecasters said, could cause downed trees and power lines.

Aside from the winds, heavy rain is expected to move in Monday afternoon and bring up to 2 to 3 inches of precipitation by Tuesday. The risk of flash flooding is low but forecasters said in a briefing package that there could be some spotty minor flooding near the Delaware River.

The rain is expected to end by Tuesday evening.
