There’s only a few days left to register for the Newtown Library Amazing Race.
The competition, in support of the Newtown Library Company, will feature teams of family members and friends who embark on an adventure through the borough in a race to find clues.
The participants, which will use their cellphone cameras during the race, will be competitng to win first place which includes a trophy, a grand prize of $200, and bragging rights. The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 29.
Registration for the event, which costs $15 for ages 14 and under and $30 for participants over 14, can be done prior to the event either in person at the Newtown Library Company at 114 East Centre Avenue or by clicking here.
Day of registration can be done at the starting point for the race at 142 N. Lincoln Avenue. Event sign-in begins the day of the event at 9:15 a.m. and the first clue will be handed out at 10 a.m.
