Newtown’s Movies in the Park series is set to start again Wednesday.
The free family-friendly event will kick off Wednesday at 8 p.m. at Linton Memorial Park at 200 S. Lincoln Avenue in Newtown Borough.
The first film screened will be “Sing,” a computer-animated musical comedy that was released last year.
“Moana” will be shown Wednesday, July 12; “Star War: Rogue One” on Wednesday, July 19; “Pets” on Wednesday, July 26; and “School of Rock” on Wednesday, August 2.
The Newtown Borough Recreation Board hosts the movie series and invites viewers to bring chairs or blankets.
