A fatality at a Philadelphia transportation center caused major tie ups on SEPTA’s Regional Rail system Thursday afternoon.

A SEPTA spokesperson said the fatality happened at the Fern Rock Transportation Center and had caused a service suspension around 3:50 p.m. As of 4:45 p.m., trains departing Bucks County on the West Trenton Regional Rail line appeared to be running with heavy delays.

The Doylestown and Warminster lines were also impacted by the fatality, which remained under investigation.
