June 13

Drug Arrest

At approximately 10:15 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on a Ford SUV operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of the Newtown Bypass and Buck Road. As a result of the investigation, suspected narcotics and drug equipment were discovered and seized as evidence, and the male operator was arrested in connection.

June 14

Retail Theft

Police responded to Ulta Beauty on South Eagle Road around 1:45 p.m. for the report of a retail theft that occurred the day prior. The total value of loss was $4,150.

June 15

Drug Arrest

At approximately 1:45 am police conducted a traffic stop on a Chrysler sedan operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of Washington Crossing Road and Saxony Drive. As a result of the investigation, suspected narcotics and drug equipment were discovered and seized as evidence, and two male subjects were taken into custody without incident on active warrants from Bucks County Sheriff’s Office.

DUI

At approximately 3:45 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop on a Toyota Camry operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of Swamp Road and Durham Road. Upon contact with the operator, the officer detected the odor of alcohol. The operator was unable to perform field sobriety tests satisfactorily and was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence. Charges are pending blood evidence results.

DUI

At approximately 10:45 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on a Subaru Outback operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of the Newtown Bypass and Lindenhurst Road. Upon contact with the operator, the officer detected the odor of alcohol. The operator was unable to perform field sobriety tests satisfactorily and was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence. Charges are pending blood evidence results.

June 16

Traffic Stop

At approximately 2:20 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop on a Hyundai sedan operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of Windy Bush Road and Pineville Road. As a result of the investigation, the operator was charged with illegally operating a motor vehicle not equipped with an ignition interlock.

June 18

Arrest

Police were dispatched to a Newtown Township residence shortly before 6 a.m. for the report of a dispute. As a result of the investigation, one female subject was taken into custody without incident on an active arrest warrant from the Bucks County Sheriff’s Department.

Drug Arrest

At approximately 9 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on a Nissan SUV operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of the Newtown Bypass and Woodbourne  Road. As a result of the investigation, suspected narcotics and drug equipment were discovered and seized as evidence. Charges are pending.

Arrests

At approximately 11 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on a Honda SUV operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of Mill Pond Road and Cherry Lane. As a result of the investigation, suspected narcotics and drug equipment were discovered and seized as evidence. A female passenger was taken into custody in connection, and the male operator was taken into custody on an active arrest warrant from our department.

June 20

Drugs Found

At approximately 3:05 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop on a Ford SUV operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of the Newtown Bypass and Woodbourne Road. As a result of the investigation, suspected narcotics and drug equipment were discovered and seized as evidence. Charges are pending.

June 23

Retail Theft

Police responded to Ulta Beauty on South Eagle Road around 1:00 pm for the report of a retail theft that occurred the day prior. The total value of loss was $273.
