Inspire Federal Credit Union has announced the top three finalists for the 2018 Bucks County Teacher of the Year Contest. This year’s contest is sponsored by Sperry Van Ness | Ahia Commercial Real Estate, Kim Rock Group | Keller Williams Real Estate, Lykon Automotive, Peruzzi Nissan, and LevittownNow.com.
The top 3 finalists were chosen from an initial group of over 200 nominated teachers. The 10 finalists were evaluated on a submission package that included teaching philosophy, community involvement, awards and recognitions, educational history, professional development, and letters of recommendation. The winner will be awarded $2,500 and $500 will be donated to their school. The runners-up will each receive $1,000 and $500 donated to their school.
The three finalists are:
Kathleen Fitzpatrick – Teaches 9th through 12th-grade Sciences at Conwell-Egan Catholic High School
Kathryn Liese – Teaches 7th and 8th-grade Pre-Engineering and STEM at Cecelia Snyder Middle School
Staci Northrup – Teaches 1st and 5th-grade classes at Makefield Elementary School

Inspire will award the top 3 finalists and announce the winner at the grand opening celebration of their newly relocated Bristol Branch at 65 Commerce Circle July 21st, 2018. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be food from local community restaurants, activities for kids, and opportunities to learn more about the relationship-focused approach to banking at Inspire FCU.
