Bucks County Community College’s Newtown Township campus will be closed Wednesday due to a threat.
The community college announced the closure Tuesday night and said Newtown Township police are investigating the alleged threat. They added the community college is providing “full cooperation.”
In their statement, Bucks County Community College said that no other campuses will be impacted and did not offer more details on the threat.
In 2014, the daughter of a Bucks County judge was sentenced for making a bomb threat against the Newtown Township campus in 2013, and a 2015 bomb threat closed the library and Gateway Center until a sweep of the facility could be completed.
