As the country celebrates the life of former President George H.W. Bush on Wednesday, a number of closures will take place.

The day of mourning for the 41st president, who died Friday night at age 94, will be a massive affair in Washington D.C. and involve dignitaries from around the country and world.

What will be impacted:

  • The New York Stock Exchange and NASDAQ will be closed.
  • Some financial institutions will be impacted on a company-by-company basis.
  • Federal offices, the U.S. House of Representatives, the U.S. Senate, U.S. Supreme Court, and federal courthouses will be closed.
