Two people were critically injured and one moderately hurt in a late Friday morning crash in Wrightstown Township.
Below is the statement from police:
“On Friday, April 07, 2023 at approximately 11:49am, Newtown Township Police responded to the 900 block of Swamp Road for a report of a vehicle and dump truck collision. Both occupants of the vehicle were critically injured, and the operator of the truck received moderate injuries. All were transported to St. Mary’s Hospital by medical personnel. Newtown crash investigators are on the scene and processing the crash scene. It initially appears that speed and failure to maintain lane of travel by the passenger car’s operator, was the causation factor of the collision. Swamp Road remained closed until the truck could be relocated.”
