The annual multi-municipality Earth Day celebration is set to take place on Saturday at Core Creek Park.
The free event in Middletown Township will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The festivities are in commemoration of last week’s Earth Day.
The multi-municipality event promises to be a fun-filled day with plenty of vendors and activities for the whole family.
The Earth Day festival is put on by the Bucks County Department of Parks and Recreation, Falls Township, Hulmeville Borough, Middletown Township, Newtown Township, and Northampton Township.
The event will have a variety of vendors, live music from several artists, an inflatable slide, and activities for attendees to enjoy. Those who attend can learn all about sustainability, connect with local businesses, and engage in Earth-friendly activities.
Officials said the event is the perfect opportunity to raise awareness about environmental issues and promote the adoption of sustainable practices that will help protect the planet.
Those who get hungry during the festivities can enjoy food from Pita Chip, a local Mediterranean restaurant, which will be serving up some tasty food and refreshments for purchase.
