Local realtor Dave Marcolla celebrated the opening of his new real estate brokerage office in Newtown Borough.
Marcolla, who has lived in and restored homes in Bucks County and Central New Jersey, for more than two decades opened his new office at 444 South State Street on Saturday morning.
Those who attended were treated to refreshments from a number of local businesses, like Calm Waters Coffee, Mamie Colette’s Bakery, and Playa Bowls. They also were able to take part in raffles and prizes.
During the ribbon cutting, Marcolla, who is also head of the Newtown Business Association, invited Newtown Borough and Newtown Township police, medics, and firefighters to be on hand.
The realtor unveiled a new program to assist homebuyers who serve as emergency responders.
The business donated $2,500 to area emergency crews during the event.
Marcolla’s real estate business has grown from close to $3 million in sales in its first year to nearly $78 million in transactions by the end of 2022.
