The Bucks County Sheriff’s Office alerted residents Friday of a scam involving individuals falsely claiming to be members of the office.

The impostors have been contacting residents about reportedly missed jury duty appearances and warrants.

“THIS IS A SCAM,” the sheriff’s office stated in a Facebook post.

Residents have been advised not to engage or share any personal information with the callers.

Bucks Countians who have been contacted or have concerns should immediately report the incident to their local police department.
