The YMCA of Bucks County and Hunterdon Counties has announced free access to its facilities and virtual wellness programs through December 20.

The initiative covers branches in Doylestown, Bristol Township’s Fairless Hills section, Newtown Township, Quakertown, and Warminster in Pennsylvania, and Flemington in New Jersey.

The nonprofit aims to bolster social, physical, and mental well-being in the community with the limited-time free access.

Following its efforts in 2021 and 2022 to help the community rebound from pandemic-related challenges, the YMCA is once again stepping up, according to the organization.

The YMCA of Bucks County and Hunterdon Counties said they are providing a welcoming space for individuals to connect, engage, and address their health needs during the holiday season, a time often marked by increased stress, anxiety, and loneliness.

A significant component of this initiative is the YMCA’s virtual platform, Y Wellness 24/7. Available to the entire community for free until December 20, the online resource offers a vast array of live and on-demand health and wellness programs suitable for various abilities and interests.

Community members can create a free account using the keycode “HERE FOR YOU” at YWellness24/7.org, allowing them access from home, office, or on-the-go.

Zane Moore, president and CEO of YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties, highlighted the positive impact of this initiative.

“We know that for many people, the holiday season can bring about additional stress, anxiety, and even loneliness,” Moore said. “We invite our communities to prioritize their health and well-being and utilize our Y, both in-person and online. Our caring, knowledgeable staff will meet you where you are and help and support you along the way.”
