The Pineville Tavern posted a video Thursday on its Facebook page that has sparked a discussion on social media about possible ghostly activity.

The tavern, which is owned by the Abruzzese family, shared security camera footage and the accompanying post speculated it might show evidence of a supernatural presence.

The establishment on Durham Road in Wrightstown Township dates back to 1742.

In the video, which was captured on Thursday, a bar stool is seen moving seemingly on its own.

The post, authored by a self-proclaimed lifelong skeptic, details the incident: “In 38 years I had never seen anything remotely convincing that the super natural exists. With that, keep your eye on the barstools.”

The footage shows three managers present, with one pointing at the stool after it moves and another appearing to notice the sound and look directly at the stool.

The tavern’s post said the video is unedited and the weight of the bar stools are about 25 pounds each.

The movement of only one stool, without any visible cause such as a draft or disturbance, has left staff questioning what happened.

The post challenges viewers: “To all the skeptics out there, what’s the explanation?”

During the Revolutionary War, the tavern hosted notable figures like Gen. George Washington and Alexander Hamilton
