January 26

Retail Theft

Police were dispatched to Ulta around 5:26 p.m. for the report of a retail theft that was discovered to have occurred on January 18  The investigation is ongoing at this time.

January 28

DUI

At approximately 1:36 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop on a Chevrolet operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of the Newtown Bypass and Sycamore Street. Upon contact with the operator, the officer detected the odor of alcohol. The operator was unable to perform field sobriety tests satisfactorily and was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence. Charges are pending blood evidence results.

January 29

DUI

At approximately 3 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop on a BMW operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of Swamp Road and Short Lane. As a result of the traffic stop, the vehicle was impounded for the suspicion of containing narcotics.  The investigation is ongoing at this time.

January 31

DUI

At approximately 12:29 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop on a Ford operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of Windy Bush Road and Pine Lane. Upon contact with the operator, the officer detected the odor of alcohol. The operator was unable to perform field sobriety tests satisfactorily and was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence. Charges are pending blood evidence results.

Retail Theft

Police were dispatched to Ulta around 5:30 p.m. for the report of a retail theft that occurred earlier that afternoon.  The investigation is ongoing at this time.
