Motorists in Wrightstown and Northampton townships should prepare for delays due to lane closures.
PennDOT has announced that from Wednesday, May 8, through Thursday, May 23, Worthington Mill Road will experience intermittent lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays. The impacted section is between Second Street Pike (Route 232) and Swamp Road.
Crews will be conducting milling and paving work, according to PennDOT.
From Wednesday, May 8, through Thursday, May 23, Second Street Pike will also see lane restrictions between Bustleton Pike and Swamp Road from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and again from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following morning.
Flaggers will be on-site to manage traffic flow during these periods.
The work will be for milling and paving work, PennDOT said.
The work is weather dependent.
The two projects are part of PennDOT’s plan to repave more than 200 miles of state roadways across Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties this year.
