Two new eateries and a workout studio are planning to open up in the Village at Newtown shopping center.

Flourish Café is aiming to open in a 3,210-square-foot space formerly occupied by KO Restaurant, which closed last year.

The Eastern European-inspired café serves up dishes and bakery items.

Flourish Café currently operates a location in Northampton Township and is looking to expand its presence in Newtown Township.

Also at the Village at Newtown, Love and Honey Fried Chicken will be setting up shop in a 1,636-square-foot space that previously housed Halal Guys.

According to a representative from Love and Honey, the new location will focus primarily on takeout with few seats inside.

The planning commission also recommended conditional use approval for Bodywork Newtown, a Pilates studio.

The business planning to move into the space left vacant by the Newtown Book Store in the Village at Newtown.

The Newtown Township Board of Supervisors need to approval the conditional use applications.
