Newtown Twp. Welcomes New Patrol Officer

The Newtown Township Police Department swore in its newest officer last Thursday.

District Judge Mick Petrucci administered the oath of office to Matthew DuBeck, 23, who is starting his law enforcement career serving Newtown and Wrightstown townships.

DuBeck is a recent graduate of the Temple University Municipal Police Academy, where he completed the Pennsylvania Municipal Police Officers Training Program recently.

The new officer holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from West Chester University, which he earned this year.

DuBeck graduated from Father Judge High School in 2021.
