Newtown Township police are investigating two recent burglaries.
Police say they were called to a home on Diamond Drive around 5:45 p.m. last Friday to investigate a burglary. The responding officer met with the resident and observed damage to the front door and master bedroom. The bedroom appeared to be ransacked. A police press release did not state whether anything was taken.
The next day around 6 p.m., officers were dispatched to a home on Birch Court to investigate a burglary that happened when the resident wasn’t home. Two dresser doors were open in the master bedroom. A jewelry box, remote control and DVD player were reported stolen, police said.
