Bucks County Community College has seen a jump in enrollment this summer.

According to the community college, enrollment for the summer session that began on May 23 is up almost 10 percent over the same period in 2015. The college’s office of institutional research has listed enrollment at 3,874 students for the first  summer session over 3,526 during the same period last year.

The increase for the summer session marks reverse in the trend of slight declines that have hit the college in recent years.

A second set of summer courses begins July 5 and ends August 11. Enrollment for the upcoming summer session ends in the coming days. Click here to learn more.

Summer courses take place at the Bristol Township, Newtown and Perkasie campuses in addition to online.
