Warren Appointed To State House of Representatives Committees

Freshman State Rep. Perry Warren will be serving on five standing committees in the House of Representatives.

The Democrat from Newtown Borough will be serving on the Environmental Resources and Energy, Human Services, Insurance, Local Government and Transportation standing committees.

Warren said he looks forward to working on the Transportation Committee to improve roads and bridges. He also stated he plans to work on the Environmental Resources and Energy Committee to “preserve and protect our environment and to ensure we all have clean air and water.”

 

 

“All of these committee assignments provide an opportunity to positively influence legislation that will impact numerous facets of life in Pennsylvania, and I am excited to be involved and to promote the best interests of our communities,” Warren said in a statement.

The 31st Legislative District includes all of Lower Makefield, Newtown Borough, Newtown Township and Yardley. A portion of Morrisville is also included.
