Bucks County made the perfect setting for a major Hollywood production filming in the region Thursday.
Philadelphia-raised funnyman Kevin Hart, Academy Award-winning actress Nicole Kidman and Golden Globe winner Bryan Cranston were spotted shooting scenes Thursday for “Untouchable” inside the Black Bass Hotel on River Road in nearby Solebury Township.
The actors were said to be friendly as they shuffled between trailers and the set inside the Black Bass Hotel. The actors took a break to snap some photos with Solebury police between takes. Crew members were busy into Thursday evening working on the film and ferrying equipment between trailers and the Black Bass Hotel.
The film started production in Philadelphia earlier this year and has made heavy use of Center City. Director Neil Burger, who led Bradley Cooper’s Philadelphia-shot “Limitless,” is behind “Untouchable,” which also stars Julianna Margulies. The story follows an aristocrat who becomes a paraplegic following an accident. After the accident, Cranston’s character hires an unemployed man with a criminal record (played by Hart) to be his caregiver.
