New management is set to reopen a Newtown Borough restaurant that was featured on a hit Fox reality show.

Details were limited but NewtownPANow.com confirmed a new steakhouse is set to open at The Brick Hotel on Washington Avenue in December. The eatery will be named Rocco’s at The Brick.

Verindar Kaur, who owns The Brick Hotel in partnership with her son CJ and two silent partners, said the large building was not sold as part of the deal. Last year, the building was put up for sale for $6 million.

On Facebook, the new eatery described itself as a “quintessential American Steakhouse with a modern twist.” Food and drinks will both be served.

The Brick Hotel appeared last year on Fox’s “Hotel Hell,” which is hosted by famed international chef Gordon Ramsey.

Kaur said last year in an exclusive interview that she and her son bought the hotel in 2006. They believed the business would “run itself,” but things turned out differently and problems sprung up.
