The unemployment rate in Pennsylvania remained unchanged in March.
The 4.8 percent unemployment rate has remained the same for the past 10 consecutive months, according to data released Friday by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry.
The national unemployment rate for March was 4.1 percent.
The data showed jobs were up in seven of the state’s 11 industry supersectors. Education and health services had the largest job growth for the second month in a row.
Year over year, the total number of non-farm jobs were up 1.4 percent.
