October is fire prevention month and that means local fire stations are hosting open houses.
Lingohocken Fire Company
The Lingohocken Fire Company hosts their fire prevention event on Sunday, October 7 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Wrightstown Township Building on Second Street Pike. There will be fire equipment, police officers, hot dogs, a stove fire demonstration, and more.
Newtown Fire Association
The fire association holds their annual open house during Market Day on Saturday, October 6 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at their station on Liberty Street in Newtown Borough.
Upper Makefield Fire Company
The fire company will host their open house on Friday, October 12 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at their station on Taylorsville Road. Firefighters, medics, and police were all be at the event.
