A Philadelphia man was charged earlier this month with allegedly indecently assaulting a rideshare driver.

Michael Jarzyk, 25, of Philadelphia, was charged on March 1 with indecent assault and harassment. He was arraigned by District Judge Mick Petrucci and released on unsecured bail.

Around 3 a.m. on January 13, Upper Makefield police received a report from a Lyft driver that alleged Jarzyk offered him money to perform a sex act. The 25 year old then reached over and grabbed the male driver’s genitals after he was confronted by the driver, police said.

A search warrant was obtained for Lyft records and statements were gathered, police said.
