The website Bucks County uses to relay unofficial election results was out of service for close to two hours after the polls closed on Tuesday.
County officials blamed the problem on their outside internet service provider.
The site came online just minutes before 10 p.m., as thousands of votes had already been tallied.
The results website, which has been in use for numerous past elections, worked on the county’s internal portal but displayed a “504 Gateway Time-Out” to the public.
County spokesperson Larry King emailed county-level results for judge and row office primaries to reporters until the public website came online.
