Police Log: Violation Of Protection From Abuse Order, Retail Thefts & More

March 11

Violation Of Protection From Abuse Order

At approximately 2 a.m., police took one male subject into custody without incident for violating a Protection From Abuse Court Order on March 10. The subject was arraigned and was released on $50,000 unsecured bail.

Retail Theft

Police were dispatched to Ulta Beauty at approximately 6:45 p.m. for the report of a retail theft in progress. As a result of the investigation, two female subjects were taken into custody and charged with Retail Theft and Receiving Stolen Property. One of the subjects was also charged with providing false identification to law enforcement as well.

March 12

DUI

At approximately 12:45 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop on a Volkswagen sedan operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of Parkview Way and Short Lane. Upon contact with the operator, the officer detected the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. The operator was unable to perform field sobriety tests satisfactorily and was placed under arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence. Charges are pending blood evidence results.

March 13

Fleeing Or Attempting To Elude Police

At approximately 11:45 p.m., police attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a Dodge Dakota pick-up truck operator for committing a vehicle code violation in the area of Durham Road and Pineville Road. As a result of the investigation, one male subject was charged with fleeing or attempting to elude police.

March 15

Retail Theft

At approximately 7 p.m., police were dispatched to Ulta Beauty for the report of a retail theft. The investigation is ongoing at this time.

March 16

Theft

Shortly before 3 p.m., police were contacted in regards to a theft from a construction site in Newtown Township. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
