PennDOT announced part of River Road in the area will be closed during the day.
River Road (Route 32) between Taylorsville Road and Woodside Road in Upper Makefield and Lower Makefield townships will be closed from Monday, June 24, through Wednesday, July 3, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for work.
PennDOT said the work is for base repairs to the closure.
During the closure, motorists are directed to use Woodside Road and Taylorsville Road.
According to PennDOT, local access will be maintained in the area.
Motorists have been asked to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur.
The repairs are weather dependent.
