A section of Durham Road (Route 413) by the Newtown Township Municipal Complex was closed Tuesday afternoon due to a crash.
Around 2:15 p.m., police, firefighters, and an ambulance were dispatched to a crash in the northbound lanes of Durham Road between North Drive and Municipal Drive, which is where the township building, police department, and fire station are located.
Police Capt. Jason Harris said the vehicle hit a utility pole and the driver was found unresponsive.
The driver was taken to the hospital and is not believed to have suffered non-life-threatening injuries, Harris said.
The cause of the wreck is being investigated.
