Police Say Numerous Unlocked Vehicles Were Entered Overnight

Thefts from vehicles are an issue that causes problems in communities across Bucks County. On Friday, numerous thefts from vehicles were reported in Newtown Township.

Police said there were several reported thefts from vehicles in the the Country Bend development off Linton Hill Road near the border with Newtown Borough. The thefts were all reportedly from unlocked vehicles.

“We remind you to please lock your cars and do not leave valuables inside,” police said in a Facebook post. 

Earlier this year, Lt. Robert Matthews warned residents to lock their vehicles after several thefts.

Any theft victims are asked to call the police radio room at 215-598-7121 and request to make a report.
