The FBI is looking to the public for help to identify a man is wanted for 10 armed bank robberies – including ones in Wrightstown and Lower Makefield – that happened between 2012 and 2015.
FBI officials said the suspect brandished a black semi-automatic handgun and verbally demanded money from tellers in all of the robberies. Once he received cash, the suspect fled the bank. Investigators suspect the man owned or has had access to a teal or light blue BMW.
On September 28, 2012, the suspect walked into the Wrightstown branch of what was then First Federal of Bucks County at 803 Park Avenue and robbed the bank. Several months later on January 1, 2013, the FBI believes the same suspect walked into the Well Fargo Bank at at 706 Stony Hill Road in Lower Makefield and knocked over the branch.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 50s, approximately 6-foot-tall to 6-foot-2, stocky build. He has concealed his face for all the robberies, using a mask, pillowcase, or bandana. He’s also worn a variety of hats, including a large straw hat; dark-colored bucket hat and black baseball cap with unknown white writing. He favors hooded sweatshirts, suit coats and lightweight jackets.
One witness caught a glimpse of the suspect’s face and that led to authorities creating a composite sketch.
