A vehicle crash kept Swamp Road closed Thursday afternoon.

According to information from Newtown Township police, a van slammed into a utility pole along Swamp Road between Twining Bridge Road and Pennswood Drive. As of 3 p.m., the roadway remained close.
PECO was called in to work on the damaged utility line.
Police warned residents that roads were snow covered and said they should use caution.
