A man is accused of not paying for more than $1,000 in products he rented from a Newtown Township business.

William Francis Kane Jr., 42, of Bristol Township, was charged recently with theft of services.

Police said Kane rented the products from the Newtown Rental Center in May. He did not pay for the items and allegedly “had no intention of paying.”

The Bristol Township man turned himself over to police Tuesday afternoon.

He was arraigned by District Judge Mick Petrucci and released on $20,000 unsecured bail.

Editor’s Note: All individuals arrested or charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty. The story was compiled using information from police and public court documents.
