A man with a “distinct limp” robbed a Rite Aid right near the Newtown Township border earlier this month.

According to police, the Rite Aid in the Summit Square Shopping Center in Middletown was robbed on Friday, March 9 around 6:30 p.m. The suspect displayed a note demanding all the money in the register and made off with an unreleased amount of cash.

The suspect drove off in a silver or dark gray SUV. The vehicle was last seen heading toward the Newtown Bypass, police said.

The suspect was described in a police statement as being a light-skinned male with an Indian or Pakistani accent. He wore a heavy jacket and jeans during the incident.
