On Tuesday, Bucks County officials reported 10 more deaths of elderly residents with COVID-19.

The 10 new deaths bring the county total to 178.

The county reported six men – ages 72, 74, 91, 92, and 98 – and four women – ages 85, 89, 94, and 95 – were counted in Tuesday’s death toll. Nine of the 10 lived in long-term care facilities and all had underlying health conditions.

Dr. David Damsker, the county health director, said there has been very little signs of new community spread. Only three of the 103 new cases were due to community spread.

A total of 675 residents who tested positive for COVID-19 have recovered.
