Upper Makefield Township is seeking to pave several roads in 2023.

This month, the Upper Makefield Township Board of Supervisors voted to authorize soliciting bids for this year’s paving projects.

The township is seeking to repave Bailey Drive, Bakers Drive, Bankers Drive, Beaumont Drive, Dunkin Drive, Emerald Court. and Russel Court.

If the bids come in at the right price, the township is also looking at potentially repaving the Upper Makefield Township Municipal Complex and Declaration Place.

In other business, the supervisors approved Township Manager David Nyman to purchase a new emergency generator for the Upper Makefield Township Municipal Complex. The generator price is not to exceed $150,000 and the township will look into purchasing one made in America.

Nyman said the previous generator died a few months back.
